Studio Grand and Studio Petit Class Schedules

Grade levels do not relate to a child’s grade level at school

Dancers who are new in the studio are typically invited to join a class that is suitable for them based on their age and prior experience. Final Class placement is determined by the Instructor.

Once a dancer is placed in a grade level, they will remain at this level throughout the season.

Registration for the Fall semester opens for NEW STUDENTS on June 5, 2026. Any early registrations will be transferred to the class waitlist.

  • Our ballet program is our primary focus at Verdi Academy of Dance. It follows the internationally recognized Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, emphasizing strong technical training, artistry, musicality, and healthy progression. Students advance by teacher placement to ensure they receive instruction appropriate for their age, ability, and development.

    • Elisa Orta, RAD Registered Teacher (RTS) – Studio Manager and RAD Registered Teacher.

    • Melody Movement (Ages 3–5) – Veronica Edwards

    • Pre-Primary Ballet (Ages 6–7) – Elisa Orta

    • Primary Ballet – Ariela Guerrero

    • Grade 1–3 Ballet(teacher placement required) – Elisa Orta

    • Grade 4–Intermediate Ballet(teacher placement required) – Veronica Edwards

    • Advanced 1 Ballet(teacher placement required) – Veronica Edwards & Elisa Orta

  • Our modern and lyrical program develops versatility, creativity, musicality, and artistic expression while complementing classical ballet training. Our modern and lyrical classes are taught by Noelia De la Rosa, BA.

  • Our adult classes provide a welcoming environment for dancers of all experience levels, whether returning to dance or trying dance for the first time.

  • Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a specialized conditioning program designed to develop the strength, alignment, coordination, balance, and muscle memory needed to support healthy ballet technique and dancer development. Our PBT classes are taught by Verdi alumna, Candace Hayden.

    • Intermediate Foundation PBT (placement required)
